Kuya Kim Atienza will geek out in “Matanglawin” this Sunday (September 26) as the popular award-winning educational program took some time off and enjoyed the sights, personalities, and activities of the Asia Pop Comic Con held recently in the country.
Kuya Kim and “Matanglawin” caught up with Pinoy comic masters Whilce Portacio, who is popular as one of the artists for Marvel Publishing and creator of the mutant character Bishop in the Uncanny X-Men comics series, and Harvey Tolibao, one of the artists for Green Arrow and Green Lantern, as the two shared their experiences working for comic giants such as Marvel and DC Comics.
Not only that, the team also got to meet a lot of geeks raving about their favorite shows, comic characters, and cosplayers. Aside from that, Kuya Kim also meets Rix Francisco, the World Record holder for most Quarter Pounders eaten within a minute, who will share stories about his mean feat, as well as the Filipino who holds the world record for longest TV watching clocking in at 100 hours total.
