Former actor who once played “Pedro Penduko” in the teleserye, Matt Evans was asked about his reaction on James Reid which is now being rumored to play “Pedro Penduko” in a movie soon.
In an interview by PUSH, Matt believes James can pull off the role, “Sobrang galing nong tao, tingin ko maitatayo niya ‘yung show ng maayos tsaka ‘yun nga tingin ko magi-explore na naman sila ng panibagong kwento kasi explorer talaga si Pedro Penduko so sa tingin ko malayo ‘yung istoryang mararating nila dito.”
He also hopes to be part of this remake, “Sana makatrabaho ko si James, makasama ako sa show.”
Matt played the iconic role in 2006 with Melissa Ricks as his love interest named Prinsesa Hiyas.
