Toni Gonzaga’s AllTV talk show ‘Toni’ is rumored to be ending its run after only four months on-air.
The show is among other AllTV programs rumored to be taking a break as the network owned by Manny Villar struggles to take off.
In a report by PEP on February 3, the network had already informed its talents that some of their shows would stop airing temporarily. Accordingly, one AllTV show already had its last day of taping.
It was also mentioned that management would still pay the talent fee as stated in their respective contracts.
ALLTV’s station-produced shows include Willie Revillame’s game show ‘Wowowin’, Toni Gonzaga’s talk show ‘Toni’ and the morning show ‘M.O.M’ (Mhies On a Mission) hosted by Mariel Rodriguez, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Ciara Sotto.
Gonzaga’s show ‘Toni’ officially debuted on ALLTV, AMBS’s television network, on October 3, 2022.
The show had a stellar start with a roster of celebrity guests like Bayani Agbayani, Alex Gonzaga, Anthony Taberna, Mariel Rodriguez, and Dra. Vicki Belo.
But rumors spread that the show was struggling to get new guests. On January 23, via a YouTube vlog, Cristy Fermin discussed that celebrities seemed to be avoiding the talk show because the ones Gonzaga was inviting had a different political opinion from hers.
As of this writing, All Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) has yet to issue an official statement regarding the temporary or permanent break of Toni Gonzaga’s talk show.
