ABS-CBN’s newest crime suspense thriller, Dirty Linen, got off to a great start.
On Monday, January 23, Dirty Linen premiered with a decent rating of 3.6 percent, beating one of its rivals, Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist, which debuted on the same day with a rating of 2.9 percent.
Meanwhile, aside from the good TV ratings, the Janine Gutierrez-led series also scored praise and warm reception from the netizens.
The pilot episode was one of the top trending topics on Twitter, with many netizens commending its plot, camera work, musical scoring, and stellar ensemble.
In his tweet, @hey_gibby gushed over the new series, saying it looked like an international Netflix series.

@pixiecatra also tweeted about the much-talked about transition in one of the opening scenes, which features the buried bodies of the missing 4, with Donya Cielo (Tessie Tomas) singing on top of it, which is a cockpit floor.
