Nadine Lustre responded to so-called Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador after the latter slammed her for her statement in an interview.
On December 8, Rendon Labador on Facebook claimed that Nadine Lustre said that it is not the responsibility of celebrities to smile and wave to the fans. It was after the issue about Deanna Wong ignoring her fans went viral online. However, Lustre’s statement was a year ago. It was way before Wong’s recent issue.
In the comment section, Rendon Labador did not agree with Lustre and even claimed the actress has a weak mind.
“Mahina ang utak ni Nadine Lustre, typical na ganda lang pero sabaw pala.”
In Nadine’s tweet on December 9, she seemed to be calling out Labador and said that people should watch her interview before slamming her.

“Nood muna kasi bago mag react. wala namang issue, for the click bait nalang lang talaga eh.”
“Im so mind blown with how this interview was so blown out of proportion then again Im not surprised.”
She then said that her interview was not related to Deanna Wong and that she does not really care about her bashers.
I hope y'all watch this video so you see the whole picture.
This interview was last year and is NOT a response or comment to Deanna Wong.https://t.co/yYVDt0icBr— Nadine Lustre (@hello_nadine) December 10, 2022
Please know that I don't really care about all the bashing… If anything, it's making me laugh.

On December 11, Labador called out Lustre and said that the actress should not be offended as he’s simply trying to correct her.
“Nadine Lustre Huwag kang masaktan sa #SampalNgKatotohanan sinabi ko lang yung napansin ko sayo, gusto ko lang mag improve ka #StayMotivated.”
In another post, Labador said that he always try to correct a person if he knows he or she did something wrong.
“STAY HUMBLE Nadine Lustre.
“Pinupuna ko lang ang mga nakikita kong sa tingin kong dapat i-tama, kung masasaktan kayo ay problema na ninyo yan. #staymotivated.”
On Twitter, Lustre shared a grimacing face emoji after her fan shared screenshots of Labador’s statement joking about hitting the actress.
