Weekday ratings remains static as “Eat Bulaga!” and “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” retains daytime and primetime leaderships.
In the August 1-7, 2016 survey conducted by AGB Nielsen on Urban Luzon households, “Eat Bulaga!” continues to rule daytime ratings board beating rival noontime show “It’s Showtime”. “Eat Bulaga!” is consistent in the number 1 position throughout the week averaging 18.7% ratings.
“It’s Showtime” meanwhile is trying to catch-up as it showed improvement on its numbers. The Kapamilya noontime shows entered top 2 again on Friday August 5, 2016 with the ratings of 13.7%.
Afternoon drama block on the other hand is still on a tug-o-war with “Magkaibang Mundo” leading the pack. “Magkaibang Mundo” places 3rd throughout the week with an average ratings of 14.2%.
Moving on to the primetime programming, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” remains undefeated as “Encantadia “continues to suffer in the ratings war. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” continues to be the undisputed primetime leader making it hard for “Encantadia” to assault the top spot. The Kapamilya action-drama teleserye averages 26.18% for the survey week ranking number 1 beating “Encantadia” which settled in the number 2 spot.
Over at weekend, “Magpakailanman” regains Saturday primetime top spot. The episode featured Kris Bernal and Julio Diaz in a story about reunion with a long lost father. “Magpakailanman” scored 23.6%, 1.2% higher that second placer “Pepito Manaloto” with 22.4%.
For Sunday, “Sunday Pinasaya” and “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” retains their leadership with “Dear Uge” and “The Voice Kids 3” following in second places for daytime and primetime respectively.
