Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto is rumored to finally leave his Star Magic family after 8 years of being with the talent agency.
As he stated in his Instagram post on November 1, he had already reached the end of his existing contracts.
As stated in his post, “Please be informed that effective today, November 1, 2022, all bookings and inquiries for Darren will now be dealt with at (0968) 8855678. This change was brought about by the expiration of existing contracts. Thank you.”

According to netizens, the singer’s contract with Star Magic has already expired and he has no plans to renew it.
After finishing second on the first season of The Voice Kids Philippines in 2014, Darren Espanto rose to prominence.
He joined Star Magic in June 2014 and released his first full-length self-titled studio album, Darren in December 2014, under MCA Music Inc. (Philippines). He then became a regular performer at ASAP.
His latest project was a cover of Shawn Mendes’ song “Top of the World” from the musical film “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.”
