Kapuso actress Carla Abellana recounted her supernatural encounters as a child on October 27.
At the media conference for ‘Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko: Game Over,’ Abellana said she had several scary experiences living at her grandmother’s home.
She confirmed, “Actually marami po, marami po, kasi ‘yung bahay kung saan ako lumaki, which is sa Lola ko, very old na po ‘yung bahay na ‘yun, ‘yung property na ‘yun. So talagang madami po kaming experiences doon. Naging parte na po siya ng aking childhood.”
According to her, one of the most memorable terrifying experiences was hearing a crying voice outside her bedroom window.
Abellana narrated, “Hindi po siya aso or pusa or whatever. So ‘yun po siguro ‘yung pinakanakakatakot kasi ang lapit ko lang sa may window.”
Coincidentally, Abellana admitted remains terrified of watching horror movies despite her love for the genre.
So mahilig po ako, pero matatakutin, so medyo contrasting. Pero, na-enjoy ko po ‘yun.”
As for their upcoming project, Abellana stars in the latest installment of the series, Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko: Game Over, alongside Cassy Legaspi, Will Ashley, Matt Lozano, Althea Ablan, and Luis Hontiveros.
The four-part mini-series premieres on November 6 on GMA Network.
