Ruby Rodriguez teased her fellow Eat Bulaga! co-host Joey de Leon if the latter still recognized her.
October 14, via Instagram, Rodriguez shared her birthday greetings for De Leon, posting an old picture of him.
“Mayor! Happy Birthday @angpoetnyo [cake emoji] hamishu [I miss you] … Kilala mo pa ba ako 😂😂😂😂 labyu,” she captioned.
“YBUR! How are you na? Marunong ka pa mag-Tagalog? Magkikita rin tayo at isang lipad lang naman yan! Hello na lang to Mark, Toni and AJ! Love you!” De Leon replied.
“@angpoetnyo naman!! Ako pa hahaha looking forward to seeing you again,” Rodriguez responded.
On January 10, via an Instagram post, De Leon humored Rodriguez and asked if she still recognized her fellow Eat Bulaga! co-hosts after leaving for the US.
De Leon also shared his birthday wishes for Rodriguez. He joked if the latter still knows how to speak Tagalog.
“Marunong pa kaya si Ruby mag-Tagalog? Kilala pa kaya nya tayo? Well, Maligayang Kaarawan is Happy Birthday in case you know!” he said.
Rodriguez was a TV host for Eat Bulaga! She was part of its production for more than 31 years.
In 2021, Rodriguez flew to the US to attend to her son, who has a medical condition.
