The Voice Kids Philippines Season One champion Lyca Gairanod admitted that she is a certified ‘NBSB’ which is an acronym for ‘No Boyfriend Since Birth.’
In a report by Bandera on October 3, the singer said if ever she would commit to a relationship, she does not want it to interfere with her career.
“Nasa tao naman po yun. Kung susuportahan ako ng magiging boyfriend ko sa lahat, hindi siya magiging dahilan para matigil ang mga ginagawa ko para sa pamilya,” she said.
She then revealed that she has the biggest showbiz crush on Daniel Padilla.
When she got teased by the actor, Gairanod simply said, “Wala pong chance!
“Wala po akong chance. Kung walang Ate Kathryn (Bernardo)! Pero grabe po sila, talagang bagay na bagay. Fan na fan po ako ng KathNiel!”
Aside from her singing career, Gairanod is currently busy with her TV5 comedy show Kalye Kweens with Alma Moreno and Dina Bonnevie.
She is also a part of the Vivamax Original suspense-mystery-horror film Mary Cherry Chua. The upcoming film is written and to be directed by Roni Supungan Benaid, and will stream on Vivamax Philippines.
The film also stars Ashley Diaz, Kokoy de Santos, Joko Diaz, Alma Moreno, Abby Bautista, and Krissha Viaje.
