GMA Network’s newest afternoon drama “Sa Piling Ni Nanay” was in for good start.
Based on the last AGB Nielsen Mega Manila ratings for June 27-30, the Yasmien Kurdi, Mark Herras, Katrina Hallili starrer beats competition on its pilot week entering the top 10 daytime ranking in number 5.
“Sa Piling ni Nanay” which debuts Monday June 27 averages 15.35% on the survey week, beating ABS-CBN’s “Tubig at Langis” which is on and off on the top 10 rankings.
On the other hand, last June 30 was the day many have been waiting for, the inauguration of the new president. All television networks hooked up the the government TV station to broadcast the historic event. But among all the TV networks that covered it, GMA Network’s “Panata ng Pagbabago” emerged as the winner.
The Kapuso network’s coverage was the most watched coverage of the presidential inauguration getting 20.2% ratings to settle in number 2 following daytime leader “Eat Bulaga!”.
For primetime it was still “24 Oras” in the number 1 spot followed by “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” which reclaimed its spot in number 2.
