The country’s longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) has finally overtaken its competitor in Mega Manila.
Based on the June 18-19 Mega Manila household survey by AGB Nielsen, MMK has beaten other shows in their timeslot. MMK also scored a higher rating than its long-standing rival GMA Network’s drama anthology Magpakailanman.
In the Zune 18, 2016 survey, MMK climbs to the number 2 spot of the Saturday primetime ranking; beating Magpakailanman and settling for third. MMK scored 21.5%, 0.4% higher than the Kapuso drama anthology.
MMK‘s June 18 episode was their father’s day presentation, which featured Zanjoe Marudo as the father who lived with his kids in a cave.
Meanwhile, “The Voice Kids 3” continues to dominates its Sunday timeslot as it beats again its rival shows. “The Voice Kids 3” which follows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” in the Sunday primetime rankings got an average rating of 21.1 beating “Hay Bahay” of GMA Network with 4.1% deficit.
“Eat Bulaga!” on the other hand retains its leadership in Saturday daytime ranking. Same with “Sunday Pinasaya” and “Pepito Manaloto” in their respective timeslots.
