Former action star Jeric Raval confronted Aljur Abrenica, the rumored boyfriend of her daughter AJ Raval.
Recently, rumors spread that AJ Raval is pregnant and Aljur is the father.
In Jeric Raval’s YouTube interview with Ogie Diaz on August 1, the action star revealed that he has nothing against Aljur as long as his intentions are pure.
“Nag-usap na naman kami (ni Aljur) nang lalaki sa lalaki. Sabi ko, ‘Tatlong bagay lang ang hihingin ko sa ‘yo, anak, kung talagang mahal mo yung anak ko. Iayos mo muna yung buhay mo, iayos mo muna yung sarili mo.
“’Lahat nasa ayos, lahat nasa lugar. So whatever happens, hindi naman lumitaw na disgrasyada yung anak ko. ‘Babae yung anak ko ‘tol, may anak ka rin.’
“Na-evaluate ko naman siya, mabait naman. He’s a good person,” he said.
When asked about the pregnancy rumors of his daughter, Jeric showed his willingness to accept it if they were true.
“Sabi ko nga kay Bats (AJ) bakit kaya hindi mo sagutin? Sabi sa akin, ‘nagsawa na ako sa kasasagot ‘Tay Eric, three months ago, four months ago.’
“Sabi ko asan ka ba ngayon at sabi nga niya nagsu-shooting siya. Nasa Angeles sila ngayon tinatapos niya ‘yung movie niya sa Viva.
“Hindi (buntis). E, bakit siya nagsu-shooting? Saka kung buntis, e, di mabuti at least hindi pala siya baog. Ha-hahaha!” said Jeric.
This was not the first time that Jeric talked to Aljur. He previously encountered the actor before wherein he asked about the actor’s relationship with AJ.
In September 2021, AJ Raval admitted that Aljur courting her.
Aljur was previously in a relationship with Robin Padilla’s daughter, Kylie Padilla. They were married for about two years and had two children together.
