The Kapamilya actress clarified an issue thrown at her by a Kapuso fan on Twitter.
Since her transfer to ABS-CBN from GMA Network more than a year ago, actress Janine Gutierrez repeatedly insisted that she was on good terms with Kapuso bosses when she left her previous home network.
Gutierrez ended her decade-long stint as an exclusive Kapuso artist when she moved to and signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN in January 2021.
Gutierrez’s first projects with ABS-CBN are the primetime TV series, Marry Me, Marry You, in which she starred alongside Paulo Avelino, and the Sunday musical noontime variety show ASAP Natin ‘To. Next month, she due to star in an LGBTQIA+-themed Web series, Sleep With Me, along with Lovi Poe, who is also a former Kapuso star.
Due to Gutierrez’s previous affiliation with GMA, her detractors are seemingly always busy reminding her of her alleged ‘burning bridges’ issue with GMA Network. On Twitter, another Kapuso fan, who is also a Lovi Poe supporter, made mention of Gutierrez again.
“Lab lab pa din natin si Lovi! She didn’t burn any bridges with GMA. Di tulad ni @janinegutierrez walang utang na loob. Nangblock pa si accla sa IG! Whahahaha.
“(We still love Lovi Poe. She didn’t burn bridges with GMA, unlike the ungrateful Janine Gutierrez. She also blocked people on IG).”
Twitter user @ALTAOS24, alluded to Gutierrez’s blocking of Kapuso singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose.
San Jose, rumored to be the girlfriend of Gutierrez’s former boyfriend Rayver Cruz.

Being tagged on the post, Gutierrez took her chance to clear her name and refute the allegation.
“Parang no bridges burned with me and gma. Baka sayo lang sissy, may ginawa ka for sure hehe.
(I don’t think bridges got burned between me and GMA Network. But between you and me, maybe? You seem to have done something wrong),” she said.
