Hero TV’s new offerings for the month include “Daily Lives of High School Boys,” “Dragon Force,” “Bleach Movie: Hell Verse,” “Power Rangers: Jungle Fury,” and “Power Rangers RPM.”
“Daily Lives of High School Boys” shows the random day-to-day activities of high school friends Tadakuni, Yoshitake and Hidenori. The odd circumstances they experience reveal an in-depth understanding of the reality of adolescence. The show premieres on June 14 at 10:30 p.m., with replays at 5:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 4:30 p.m.
The time is 2056 and robocops known as the Dragon Force, fight the never-ending battle against evil in “Dragon Force,” a new title that will be aired on June 29 at 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
In “Bleach Movie: Hell Verse,” main character Ichigo is faced with the challenge of saving his sister and keeping the inner underworld at bay. “Bleach Movie: Hell Verse” will be shown on June 9 and June 30 at 12:00 a.m., with replays at 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Evil animal spirits are on the loose in “Power Rangers: Jungle Fury.” However, the favorite Kung fu warriors are out to crush all threats with their animal zords. Catch the action as it starts on June 22 at 7:00 p.m., with an additional time slot on June 29 at 10:30 a.m.
A Power Rangers series entitled “Power Rangers RPM” premieres on Hero TV this June. A tale on the perils of technology, it tells of a computer virus called Venjix that takes over all of earth’s computers. The Power Rangers turn to operating an arsenal of radically-advanced biotech vehicles to defeat this virtual enemy. The show begins airing on June 22 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional time slot on June 29 at 11:00 a.m.
Keeping the back-to-school blues away are Hero TV’s returning popular titles—the classic favorite “Sailormoon,” the thrilling “Claymore,” the epic sports anime “Eyeshield 21,” the second season of “Najor,” the futuristic “Galaxia Bots,” the first season of “Reborn” and the magical “Familiar of Zero.”
Meanwhile, Hero TV airs two event specials this month. On June 2, at 12:00 a.m., 12 noon, at 9:00 p.m, the best Filipino cosplayers are featured in the “Hero Face Off 2012.” And on the same day, at 1:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m., the channel brings the highlights of the Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention 2012 where the Hero Face Off 2012 winners competed.
Incidentally, the much-anticipated “Hero Face Off 2013” will happen on June 16 at SM Megamall. From all the event participants, two “Ultimate Cosplayers” will be chosen to win big prizes, including a chance to go to the World Cosplay Summit 2013 in Nagoya, Japan.
