Allegations say Liza Soberano and James Reid will be paired for an upcoming project.
On July 22, Ogie Diaz shed light on the rumors of Soberano and Reid working on a project.
Diaz stated that he does not believe Soberano and Reid will be working together soon.
“Hangga’t hindi sinisimulan, hangga’t hindi natatapos. Kung pelikula man ‘yan o teleserye, hindi ako maniniwala,” Diaz said.
Diaz shared that Soberano plans to pursue Hollywood and the Korean entertainment industry.
“Sobrang gusto niya talaga na magkaroon ng isang Korean movie,” he added.
Diaz said that real-life couple Soberano and Enrique Gil should be the ones to decide regarding the rumors.
“Sila [Soberano and Gil] may desisyon nun. Pero syempre tiyak na magrere-act ang Lizquen fans.
“Tulad ng ating binalita rito, magso-solo na si Ken [Enrique] at excited na siya. Kaya magpapaganda rin ng katawan si Ken, habang siya naman ay excited din for Liza, sa pangarap nito na Hollywood at Korean [entertainment],” Diaz detailed.
In June 2022, Reid said he was not feeling the pressure in handling Soberano’s career.
“Yes. Of course. She’s a huge star and one of the brightest stars in the country. But at the end of the day, I have to be efficient at what she wants in her career.
“That’s why I don’t feel pressure because she has a very clear vision, and I think that’s very achievable, and I think it’s going to bring her to the next level,” Reid said.
