Aside from the candidates who dominated the Showtime SexyBabe stage with their sexiness, beauty, and wit, the entire production of It’s Showtime also received overwhelming praises for pulling off such a stellar show.
Netizens and viewers of the Kapamilya program, It’s Showtime, are all-praises for the show, after it delivered a fun and thrilling show for the grand finals of its segment, Showtime SexyBabe, on Saturday, July 23.
Parañaque City’s Sam Coloso, ultimately took home the crown and became the first grand winner of the popular beauty contest, at the end of the event.
Ever since Bobet Vidanes left the show, and new directors took over to handle the show, netizens have been noticing the massive improvement of the 13-year-old noontime show, in terms of production, set design, and even camera direction. Under TV director Jon Moll, however, the positive changes became even more evident and the viewers became even more appreciative.
On July 23, Moll thrilled It’s Showtime’s viewers once again, with his spectacular direction of Showtime SexyBabe grand finals. The viewers of the show took to social media, especially on Twitter, to express their admiration of the director’s work.
“Ang gaaaandaaaa! My dream came into reality for #BGYO_TumitigilAngMundo!!! Thank you, sis” said @whatsupjared who is a certified BGYO fan. The P-POP grouo’s new song, Tumitigil ang Mundo was used during the ‘pasarela’ challenge of the competition.

Twitter user @binified_, meanwhile, noted that the new It’s Showtime director went to study overseas.
“THE SHOWTIME DIRECTOR WENT TO KOREA TO STUDY CAMERAWORK… I THINK YOU’RE RIGHT,” she said, which is a response to another user who asked whether Sarah Geronimo’s comeback video was shot at the ABS-CBN Soundstage in Bulacan.

“(In fairness to Showtime’s SexyBabe, the production of its grand finals was actually on the par with other national beauty pageants).”
