Beks Battalion revealed on Friday, July 22, that while working at Comedy Bar, they discovered that some people take their jokes seriously.
During the press conference for Chad Kinis, MC Muah, and Lassy Marquez’s concert titled Beks 2 Beks 2 Beks, they said that offending a patron is expected when you are a stand-up comedian.
They even added it to their skit because of its recurrence.
Maybe because of the severity of the joke, the comedian even made the customer wait until morning.
“Nag-abang talaga sa labas. Nakauwi ako umaga na,” he jest.
But to clarify, MC explained that if their joke was offensive to a particular individual, they stray away from that person to avoid aggravating them more.
Sorry. Tatandaan ka namin.'”
“Tsaka ang kinapikon niya kasi, isang grupo sila, ‘yung tawanan ng grupo niya,” added Lassy.
There were also instances where their manager was called to “reprimand” them.
Chad then stressed that it was a customer’s choice to enter a comedy bar and be made fun of. Stand-up comedians were there to entertain and not to be rude.
