Beks Battalion members Chad Kinis, MC Muah, and Lassy Marquez on Friday, July 22 revealed each other’s secrets while promoting their upcoming concert Beks 2 Beks 2 Beks.
Among the three, it was MC who is the most generous when it comes to love.
Chad said that his co-member at one point gave a brand-new car to his boyfriend of two months.
“Ang nakakatawa po, si MC kasi, bumili ng kotse para sa dati niyang ano. two months palang sila, binilihan niya na ng kotse. Noong naghiwalay sila, ayun, five years siyang naghuhulog.”
MC, in his defense, explained that his generosity came from the relationship’s length.
“Hindi, mas matagal kasi ang mga nakarelasyon ko kaya siguro mas naging galante ako. ‘Diba habang tumatagal ang relasyon mo—‘Pag lumalalim na kasi ang pagmamahalan niyo, ang relasyon niyo, hindi mo na tinitignan mo kung ano ang maibibigay mo. Ang tinitignan mo na lang, kung ano ang maitutulong mo para gumanda ang buhay ng karelasyon mo.”
Chad also babbled that Lassy treats his boyfriend like a king.
“Si Lassy po talaga, galante din ‘to. Sa dyowa, galante,” said Chad.
“Kuripot sa pamilya!” added MC.
According to the two, Lassy dines with his partner in a luxurious restaurant while his family eats at a fast food chain, specifically, Chowking.
Although secrets have been revealed, they never had an issue with men. MC explained that they may compare things when it comes to work but never with their love life.
“Sa mga ano…’yung mga hindi love nagko-compare kami. Pero ‘yung jowa, hindi.”
Chad added, “Tsaka magkakaiba po kami ng mga tipo sa lalaki.”
Chad, MC, and Lassy have different tastes in men. Chad likes chubby guys who are mestizos while MC gushes over the “boy next door” type.
Lassy, on the other hand, likes his men “hot.”
“‘Yung maganda ang katawan tsaka mahilig sa aso,” he said.
But it was not the truth. MC joshed that Lassy prefers those who love to go clubbing.
“Kaya minsan, parang gusto ko na si Chad eh, hahaha,” bantered Lassy. “Oo nga eh, tumatabi na ako sa kama mo, hahaha.”
While they are all fun and games, Beks Battalion also knows how to save up. Chad has the most investment among them.
“Sa amin pong tatlo, siya po ang may pagka-business minded. So siya po ang mas marami ng nabili na properties,” revealed Chad.
Chad made the realization that he needs to put his money to “good use” after his sister gave birth.
“Noong nagkaroon po ng anak ang ate ko, na pamangkin ko, doon po ako mas nag-focus na mag-invest para paglaki ng bata, may mapupuntahan ang pinaghirapan ko.
“Kasi kung dati, walang direksyon, happy-go-lucky, noong nagkaroon ng anak ang ate ko, which I treat as my own, sabi ko, ‘At least kahit papaano, I’m looking forward na lahat ng pinagpaguran ko, may mapupuntahan.'”
Beks 2 Beks 2 Beks will be the first physical concert of Beks Battalion after the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be held at the New Frontier Theater on August 26 at 8 p.m.
Vice Ganda, Bugoy Drilon, Daryl Ong, Michael Pangilinan, Zeinab Harake, Jelai Andres, Ate Guy, and Buboy Villar, among others will be their guest.
