The longest-running Kapamilya series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remains top-rated but fails to climb up to the third spot.
On July 4, Lolong entered the telebabad lineup, replacing another top-rated Kapuso show First Lady.
Lolong, starring Ruru Madrid in the title role, performed well during its pilot. With this, the competition in free TV remains tough as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano also improved its ratings.
However, Kapuso programs 24 Oras, Lolong, and Bolera remain solid in the Top 3, making it hard for FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano to penetrate the list.
From July 4 to July 8, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano settled in the fourth spot on the leaderboards while 24 Oras, Lolong, and Bolera, occupied the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spots, respectively.
On July 4, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned 11.6%, establishing a 1.4% gap from Bolera, which earned 13.0%, while Lolong earned 17.7%, and 24 Oras reached the 18.0% mark.
The following day, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano improved to 12.0%, but its gap from Bolera widened to 1.7%. Lolong and 24 Oras dropped to 16.2% and 16.7%, respectively.
On July 6, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and Bolera’s gap again increased to 1.9% as the Kapamilya show dropped to 11.8%.
On July 7, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano recovered to a 12.9% rating and came very close to Bolera with only a 0.5% gap.
However, their gap increased to 2.2% the following day despite FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s improved ratings of 13.1%.
The Kapuso telebabad lineup remains strong, but FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s power is incomparable even with its limited reach.
Can FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano still return to the Top 3 list considering the intense competition in free TV?
