About Vivamax’s Kitty K7 movie, director-producers Dan Villegas and Antoinette Jadaone on Friday, July 8 showed true parental love as they will be supporting their children’s passion, even if it is selling sex.
Salome Salvi, the popular cam girl on which the latest project of the couple was based, had her mother drive her away from their house after discovering that she is a porn performer.
“I was actually really surprised how much of the details of my story made it into the film, especially the scene where I started exploring my sexuality with the photographers as well; the way na parang naghiwalay kami nang nanay ko, ganoon na ganoon,” she said during the film’s media conference.
Villegas and Jadaone assured that such tragedy would not be felt by their children.
“Pinag-usapan na namin ni Tonette ‘yan eh. Susuportahan namin ang anak namin 100% kung ano ang passion niya, the same way na my mom is over there, supported me to become a filmmaker, 100%,” he explained.
The director then added, “So I think my son or daughter deserves the same love and support kung ano man ang maging passion niya.”
His wife agreed, adding, “Parehas ng sagot ni Dan. Basta ‘yung pera na kinikita niya hindi galing sa nakaw, walang masama sa trabaho.”
Kitty K7 is about a cam girl (Rose Van Ginkel) whose life gets mixed up with photographer Krishna’s (Marco Gallo) after having a one-night stand.
The movie is directed by Joy Aquino and produced by Project 8, the production company of Villegas and Jadaone. It is now available on Vivamax since July 8.
