Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime is set to get a wider audience as it joins other ABS-CBN shows on TV5.
In a Facebook post by News5 on Wednesday, July 6, it has confirmed that the program is set to join forces with TV5’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud (LOL).
“Ang magkatapat noon, magiging magkapatid na sa pagpapasaya! Ang pangmalakasang pagsasanib-pwersa sa TV5 ng noontime shows na Lunch Out Loud at It’s Showtime, abangan sa report ni MJ Marfori mamayang 5:30 p.m. sa #FrontlinePilipinas.”
The news was also reported by MJ Marfori on TV5’s primetime newscast Frontline Pilipinas where she said that It’s Showtime and LOL will be airing back to back on TV5 this coming July.
Currently, It’s Showtime is airing on A2Z Channel 11, Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya Online Live.
The Vice Ganda-led noontime show will be the latest ABS-CBN content to be broadcasted by TV5.
In January 2021, ABS-CBN Sunday noontime variety show ASAP Natin ‘To and FPJ: Da King started airing on TV5. It was followed by ABS-CBN Primetime bida teleseryes in March 2021 and in June 2022 Idol Philippines Season 2 also joined TV5’s weekend programming.
Meanwhile, rumors about It’s Showtime‘s airing on TV5 started as early as January 2021 when TV5 axed their former Sunday variety noontime show Sunday Noontime Live.
