Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis finally gave her statement about Ai-Ai delas Alas being tagged as a ‘personae non grata’ in Quezon City.
On June 7, the Quezon City Council approved the resolution declaring delas Alas and content creator Darryl Yap as “personae non gratae” (a person who is not welcome in the city).
The actress accordingly disrespected Quezon City’s official seal after an edited and defaced version of the triangular Quezon City seal was seen behind her in a video.
In her Instagram post on June 10, Manay Lolit said that delas Alas’s recent issue should serve as a lesson for everyone to be responsible for their actions.
“Kahit binayaran ka para ikampanya ang isang kandidato, dapat maingat ka at tignan mo ang magiging resulta nito ng pang mahabang panahon.
“Like in the case ni Ai-Ai delas Alas, puwede niya ikampanya ang kandidato niya ng hindi magiging very personal ang atake sa kalaban. Parang self destructing na dahil lang sa ibinayad sa iyo, forever ng tatak ang kabastusan na ginawa mo.
“Dapat isipin mo na meron after effect ang ginagawa mo na baka maging dahilan ng mas malaking damage para sa iyo.”
She said that even if it was for a job she was paid for, delas Alas should have remained respectful.
“Magkano ba ang ibinayad, masyado bang malaki para talikuran mo na ang lahat lahat pati pakikisama? Sayang, lalo pa nga at sa ganitong panahon, mas marami kang friends , the better. Hay naku, isip isip kasi, gamitin ang utak,” Solis stressed.

Meanwhile, Manay Lolit previously called delas Alas ‘laos’ after the actress made a spoof video of Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
The said the video is the same video where the Quezon City seal was reportedly disrespected by the actress.
