On June 3, rapper and Pandayo Music CEO Mr. Phoebu$ shared his thoughts on how Filipino Hip-Hop artists could break through the international music scene.
During the media conference for the Pandayo Alon Water Music Festival, Mr. Phoebu$ said Filipino Hip-hop artists need to continue to grind in creating music.Â
He then analyzed why the Pinoy Hip-Hop genre flourished amid the pandemic through relatability.
He also cited the appeal of Pinoy Hip-Hop in motivating Filipinos amid the pandemic.
He then noted that Pinoy rap artists have different target audiences currently.
