In a tweet on ABS-CBN showbiz reporter MJ Felipe denied the rumored breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla or KathNiel.
The rumors surfaced online after a blind item reported that reel-to-real loveteam have parted ways. The given initials of their names were similar to KathNiel’s that’s why some fans were alarmed.
“Spoke to two very reliable sources close to Kathryn & Daniel,” Felipe wrote.
“Netizens have been mentioning the couple after a blind item, coincidentally with their initials, came out that a certain loveteam have decided to call it quits.
“Both sources vehemently denied the rumors.”

Via Instagram Stories, Padilla recently shared a photo of Bernardo resting in bed because of a fever.
Bernardo also posted an update on her Instagram Stories said that she has “a fever and a severe sore throat.”
“I’ve been feeling under the weather since yesterday. This morning, I woke up with a fever and a severe sore throat,” Bernardo said.
As of now, the two Kapamilya stars remain mum about the rumors.
KathNiel recently took a trip to Thailand to celebrate their 10th anniversary as an on-and-off-screen couple.
