TV Director Bobet Vidanes on Tuesday, May 31, pointed out that the decisions he previously made were correct.
This was after he was announced to be BLVCK Entertainment Productions’ manager. The newly built talent agency was founded by couple Grace and Louie Cristobal.
In the media launch of BLVCK, Vidanes stated, “Tama ako sa desisyon ko. ‘Yun po ang sinabi ko. Tama ‘yung desisyon ko after all ng pinagdasal ko, pinag-isipan kong mabuti. Tama ‘yung hakbang na aking ginawa for my peace of mind.”
It can be recalled that Vidanes left ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime after being its director for the past 11 years. It was controversial due to some of the show’s hosts denied any knowledge about his exit.
Moreso, it was believed that the reason for his resignation was because of financial reasons. However, he clarified that it was more of a “health concern.”
After leaving It’s Showtime, Vidanes became the director of TV’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud.
Apart from being BLVCK’s manager, the director also won as councilor in Pililla, Rizal.
As a talent manager, Vidanes stressed that he wants to help those aspiring artists.
“But I’m still hungry doon sa mga taong nangangarap. Siguro iyon talaga ang forte ko eh, ‘yung tumulong do’n sa mga nangangarap. I will try my best na tulungan sila. Kung naintindihan ko ‘yung mga artists, etong mga upcoming, mas maiintindihan ko sila.”
Currently, BLVCK Entertainment Productions is in search of raw talents to hone. Those interested may contact BlvckEntertainmentProduction@gmail.com for more details.
