On April 27, Kapuso artist Lianne Valentin recounted her accident on the set of Apoy sa Langit.
During the media conference for the afternoon series, Valentin detailed her experience cutting her finger in one scene with co-star Coleen Paz.
She then narrated how she pushed past the pain and continued taping the sequence for the series.
Tapos ang haba ng linyahan, and there are still reaction shots.
Thankfully, Valentin received a quick medical treatment right after completing her scene.
Her scene partner Coleen Paz thanked the medics and staff on standby while taping the sequence.
“Buti na lang talaga sobrang lucky kami na ‘yung Apoy sa Langit, ready talaga ‘yung mga medic, ready talaga ‘yung everyone, as in everyone talaga are there for us.”
Valentin stars in the upcoming Kapuso teleserye Apoy sa Langit alongside Zoren Legaspi, Maricel Laxa, Mikee Quintos, Dave Bornea, Mariz Ricketts, Carlos Siguion-Reyna, Coleen Paz, Celine Fajardo, Patricia Ismael, and Mio Maranan.
Apoy sa Langit premieres on May 2, Mondays to Saturdays, after Eat Bulaga on GMA Afternoon Prime.
