Actress-philanthropist and vocal Leni Robredo supporter Angel Locsin shared a photo where she is shaking hands with Senator Bato Dela Rosa, a Duterte ally.
On April 19, Locsin headed to the storm-stricken province of Leyte to conduct relief operations for the victims of tropical storm Agaton.
During the relief operation, she bumped into Dela Rosa, so they posed for a photo opportunity, and she shared the photo on her Instagram feed.

Locsin did not hesitate to shake hands with Dela Rosa despite their difference in political beliefs.
Dela Rosa is one of President Rodrigo Duterte’s strongest allies, while Locsin is one of the government’s biggest critics. That’s why it is a rare opportunity to see them together.
She also came close to people in the area and met fellow Robredo supporters and even Bongbong Marcos supporters.
These prove that Locsin has set aside her political affiliation and focused on helping people despite their political beliefs.
Some Kakampinks wished that Locsin should have worn a pink shirt to avoid being tagged as a Bongbong Marcos supporter because of her photo with Dela Rosa.
Ang nakakatakot lang gamitin nila yon picture as fake News ….. na BBM na si Angel Locsin sana nakasuot ng Pink Tshirt si Angel

However, Locsin clarified that she chose not to wear pink so that critics would not politicize her philanthropic actions.
Hello!

Locsin has been consistent in helping fellow Filipinos who fell victim to different calamities or natural disasters.
She was joined by her husband, Neil Arce, in distributing relief packages at Baybay SH and Brgy. Bunga.
Last December, Locsin also joined the relief drive for the victims of Typhoon Odette in Visayas and Mindanao.
The Kapamilya actress has received international recognition for her philanthropic efforts. In 2019, she was named one of Forbes Asia’s “Heroes of Philanthropy,” and in 2021, she was named one of Tatler Asia’s “Most Influential” people.
