The It’s Showtime host came out as a certified Kakampink via an Instagram post where she thanked the presidentiable for her special birthday greeting.
Kim Chiu is a Kakampink. That is what the It’s Showtime’s most recent post on Instagram, revealed on Tuesday, April 19.
The Pinoy Big Brother Teen Big Winner posted a clip of Vice President Leni Robredo giving her a special birthday greeting. Chiu recently just celebrated her 32nd birthday.
“Gusto ko lang kunin ang pagkakataon para sabihin sa iyo, how inspiring your life has been for many people, including myself,” the Vice President said who also told Chiu that she is one of her followers on her YouTube channel, and that she has been closely following the actress-host’s journey to being an example of someone who defied all odds.
“Keep up the good work and continue inspiring others. I wish you all the best. I wish you all the luck in the world. Because you deserve it”, Robredo added.
In her caption, Chiu proudly shared her excitement at receiving the special greeting. She said it made her tear up.
“OMG, Literally I am crying right now!
“Nakakaiyak na ang maraming tao na ginagawa araw-araw, doing everything for the people as Vice President of our country, and soon to be a President (It really makes me tear up, knowing how you are very busy doing everything as the Vice President, and soon to be the President of our country),” Chiu shared, as she also took the chance to officially express her support for the Vice President’s presidential bid.
“Salamat din po sa laban na ibinibigay ninyo para sa ating bayan. Makakaasa po kayo na kasama po ako sa laban na ito. Laban para sa isang gobyernong tapat, angat buhay lahat (Thank you for give our country a fighting chance. You can count on me to take part in your fight to achieve an honest government that lifts up everyone,” she added.

Chiu also expressed her excitement to see Robredo finally sworn in as the next President of the Philippines.
“I am looking forward for a better, brighter, kulay rosas na bukas para sa Pilipinas, with you as our president, Maria leonor “Leni” Gerona Robredo” her closing statement reads.
Chius’ declaration of support came days after Anne Curtis, another It’s Showtime host, went public with her endorsement of Robredo’s presidential campaign.
