Actor JC Santos on Monday, April 4, showed humility during the story conference of his upcoming psycho-thriller film Tahan, insisting that he is still new in showbiz.
“Wala po ako masabi tungkol sa pagiging baguhan kasi baguhan lang din po ako sa larangan ng screen. Nagstart lang po ako nung 2017,” said Santos.
He also has yet to reveal his restrictions to his producers and director.
“I think wala pa po akong hinihinging conditions.”
The actor will be working alongside seasoned actress Jaclyn Jose and up-and-coming sexy star Cloe Barreto. The cast also includes Quinn Carrillo, AJ Oteyza, Stiff Banzon, Karl Medina, Mac Cardona, Joseph San Jose, and EJ Salamante.
Santos expressed his eagerness to start working and learning with them in working with fresh faces.
“And working with new actors, I like working with new actors kasi marami rin sila nabibigay na bago din. Kumbaga updated version lang sila,” he explained.
The actor also has no objections to the script written by cast member Carrillo. Sharing his opinion on the story, he said it makes him excited to see how it would evolve.
“I think the script works for me. It was just a lot of possibilities na para lang na maganda na siya pwede pa siya pagandahin. Dun ako na excite and para makakita ako ng fresh take in front of me and something new to learn. That’s exciting for me, madami akong matututunan with the new set of actors.”
Tahan is directed by Bobby Florencio Jr. and is produced by first-time producer John Bryan Diamante. It is about a prostitute (Barreto) who craves the flesh of men.
