Boy Abunda’s sister, congresswoman Maria Fe Abunda, supports the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo.
On March 29, VP Leni held her grand people’s rally in Eastern Samar called “Pink Wave Ha Este.” It was a beach rally held at Baybay Boulevard, Borongan City.
Marie Fe is the Eastern Samar Lone District Representative and she welcomed VP Leni to Borongan City.
She then endorsed Leni saying that the Vice President has the capability to lead the country.
“Sigurado ako na sa Mayo 9, 2022, si Leni Robredo ang uupo sa Malacanang,” said Maria Fe in Waray.
“Marunong, maayos lumaban, hinaharap kahit sino, masipag, kahit walang pera, kahit walang pondo. Sa lahat na nag-aapply sa pinakamataas na posisyon sa ating bansa, the best one for the job is a woman!” she added.
On March 29, she also endorsed VP Leni on Facebook.
“When women participate in politics, the effects ripple out across society…Women are the world’s most underused resource,” she said.
Meanwhile, Maria Fe’s brother, Boy Abunda, had a one-on-one presidential interview with Leni Robredo in January 2022. The video was uploaded on YouTube where it garnered millions of views and dominated the Twitter trends list.
