For the longest time, the Kapamilya teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remains to be ABS-CBN’s flagship program.
Despite the network’s limited reach, it maintained its position at the top of the AGB Nielsen rating chart.
From March 7 to March 11, the longest-running teleserye is solid in the #3 spot of the leaderboards.
On March 7, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned an 11.1% rating, 2.0% behind its rival GMA Network program, First Lady.
Its rating improved to 12.0% the following day, establishing a 1.6% gap against First Lady.
On March 9, the rating of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano dropped to 11.6%, but its gap against First Lady minimized to 0.9%.
On March 10, the gap between FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and First Lady widened to 2.6%, as the former earned 11.2%.
Their gap even increased to 3.4% when the week ended as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned a 10.4% rating.
Out of the Top 20 Most-Watched programs, only four are from the Kapamilya network.
Other Kapamilya programs included in the list for the said week are The Broken Marriage Vow (5th-6th), TV Patrol (16th-20th), and Viral Scandal (14th-16th).
Meanwhile, the back-to-back tandem of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and The Broken Marriage is the newest winning duo of ABS-CBN because both of them are capable of joining the Top 5 despite the limited audience reach.
