Esteemed director Joel Lamangan commended the potential of newbie artist Christine Bermas as an excellent actress Friday, March 11.
In the virtual media conference of his latest work, Moonlight Butterfly, Lamangan was impressed with her after working with her in Siklo and Sisid.
The director also pointed out that Bermas resembles a true Filipina who has the skillset and the attitude to be a great actress.
Meanwhile, the sexy actress could not help but be emotional after hearing such words from Direk Joel.
“Well, hindi ko ma-explain yung nararamdaman ko. Kasi coming from direk, thank you po kasi na-appreciate niyo ako and yung mga ginagawa ko. And thank you dahil naniwala kayo sa kakayahan ko.
“Sobrang nakakataba ng puso, sobrang alam mo ‘yon, kahit ako parang, ‘Totoo ba? Naririnig ko yung mga ganoon?'” she expressed.
Moonlight Butterfly is about Eunice (Bermas), the hottest G.R.O. in Losa Angeles, Pampanga, who supports her family and her boyfriend Roy (Albie Casiño). After meeting Elliot (Kit Thompson), an American guy, he wanted her all for himself. He showered him with material things and helped her financially, leading to the relationship of Eunice and Roy taking a shaky turn.
Catch it on Vivamax, starting March 18.
