The newest ‘suspenserye’ of GMA Network, Widow’s Web, was a consistent top-rater during its first airing week!
Widow’s Web replaced Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune, which concluded on February 25 in the #4 spot with an 11.0% rating.

On February 28, the suspenserye debuted in the second slot of the GMA Network Telebabad line-up. The series earned a 10.4% rating, tied with ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in the 3rd-4th spot.
The following day, Widow’s Web dropped its rating to 9.4%, ranking 4th in the rating chart. It was 1.5% behind FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
On March 2, Widow’s Web again dropped its rating to 9.2%. Its gap against FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano increased to 1.8%. Despite that, it remained in the fourth spot.
The next day, Widow’s Web improved its rating to 10.4% and came closer to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano with only a 0.2% gap.
But on March 4, the Widow’s Web again dropped its rating to 9.6%, while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano improved its rating to 10.7%.
These figures of Widow’s Web are the combined ratings from its GMA Telebabad airing and the replay on GTV at 11:30 pm.
Widow’s Web top bills Vaness del Moral as Hillary Suarez, Carmina Villarroel as Barbara Sagrado-Dee, Ashley Ortega as Jackie Antonio-Sagrado, and Pauline Mendoza as Elaine Innocencio. Ryan Eigenmann appeared with special participation as Alexander “Xander” Sagrado III or “AS3.”
The first week of the suspenserye showed the private life of the Sagrados and the love story of Elaine and Frank Querubin (EA Guzman). The mysterious death of Alexander that caused the dilemma of the characters was also witnessed.
In the next episodes, Widow’s Web will exhibit how Alexander’s death will affect the lives of the four ladies. The real suspect behind the crime will be the biggest mystery of the story.
