The longest-running Kapamilya action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano recovered as the #3 Most-Watched program nationwide after going head-to-head with Widow’s Web.
On February 28, Widow’s Web premiered on the second slot of GMA Network’s Telebabad lineup, replacing Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune.
Widow’s Web pilot episode tied with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in the 3rd-4th spot in the AGB Nielsen rating chart with a 10.4% rating.
But on the following days, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano regained the #3 spot and surpassed the new Kapuso series.
On March 1, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned a 10.9%, establishing a 1.5% lead against Widow’s Web.
The following day, the gap between the two programs widened to 1.8% as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned 11.0%.
On March 3, the two programs again went head-to-head with a 0.2% gap, but FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained in the #3 spot with a 10.6% rating.
In terms of online views, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continues to reign. From February 28 to March 3, it earned a total of 11.6 million views from its YouTube episodes, while Widow’s Web settled to about 3 million total views.
