On February 27, people noticed that Kapuso actress Carla Abellana liked several comments on social media slamming her husband, Tom Rodriguez.
Among the comments that she liked were:

Abellana’s liking spree happened after informing her followers how to remove a follower on their social media through her Instagram Stories.
She alluded to the incident where netizens noticed she and Rodriguez’s IG accounts had unfollowed each other.
“I find it very grade school to unfollow-follow important persons in your life on social media within a short timeframe. On the other hand, it may actually be a skillful move if you’re playing a spiteful game.
“Oh, and while we’re at it, I might as well remind everyone to be more mindful about distractions and diversions, especially on social media.”
Abellana and Rodriguez first worked in the GMA Network series, My Husband’s Lover in 2013.
They also worked together in the movie, ‘So It’s You!,’ in 2014.
Around that time, Rodriguez admitted that he was courting Abellana. Within the same year, the two deepened their relationship without labeling it. Then, in 2016, Rodriguez affirmed how special Abellana is for him.
In 2019, rumors about their supposed engagement surfaced, which Rodriguez denied. Around this time, they were in a semi-live-in setup.
In March 2021, Abellana and Rodriguez revealed their engagement, noting that they were already five months into their impending nuptials.
Abellana and Rodriguez tied the knot on October 23, 2021, in San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas.
In January 2022, rumors about their breakup surfaced after netizens noticed that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. A day after this, the two followed each other again.
