Ella Cruz revealed that when she was still a high school student, some classmates called her ‘laos’ and slapped her.
On February 21, during the digital press conference for the upcoming Vivamax series titled The Seniors, Cruz shared that she was a victim of bullying in her hometown in Bulacan.
Cruz admitted that her high school days were extremely traumatizing for her and shared that her classmates had slapped her face for no reason.
“One time, I’m just walking sa hallway, biglang kinorner po ako ng mga kaklase tapos bigla nila akong sinampal, out of nowhere, na walang reason talaga,” she recalled.
Cruz said that she transferred to another school in Quezon City during her senior year in high school, where she found new friends. She stated that she is still in contact with them up to now.
“Thank God, nung senior year ko na, fourth year high school, lumipat ako ng school sa Quezon City.
“Dun ko na-meet yung mga tunay na kaibigan ko, yung friends for life. Sila talaga yung maaasahan mo through ups and downs,” she added.
