On February 17, award-winning director and former Kapamilya Jerry Lopez-Sineneng praised the creatives behind GMA Network’s Widows’ Web.
During the media conference for the upcoming primetime teleserye, Lopez-Sineneng described the screenplay for Widows’ Web as complete and cohesive.
He then proudly declared that it was one of the best scripts he ever worked on as a director.
“So ang ginagawa ko na lang is konting reminders, konting guidance, ganyan, pero buong-buo po siya kasi sa script. May I say this is one of the best scripts I have ever directed.
And I’m so happy and proud.
He also lauded the actors, admitting that Vaness del Moral, Ashley Ortega, and Pauline Mendoza surprised him with their talent.
He then thanked GMA Network for giving him an ensemble cast for his first directorial project as a Kapuso.
“Actually as a director, 50% of your work is done pag mahusay na ‘yung artista so you can focus on other details. I’d like to thank GMA [Network] for giving me this ensemble cast, kasi ang sarap katrabaho, sobrang magaan.”
