GMA Network programs ‘Agimat Ng Agila’ and ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ lead Saturday and Sunday programming, respectively.
Even during the weekend, Kapuso programs continue to reign in ratings.
The return of ‘Agimat Ng Agila’ for its second season is a hit for viewers as it earns high ratings. From being the #2 most-watched program during its pilot on January 29, the Bong Revilla-starrer series is now the #1 for Saturday programming.
On February 5, ‘Agimat Ng Agila’ earned a 10.9% rating, beating fellow Kapuso program ‘Magpakailanman’ with a 0.2% gap.
‘Agimat Ng Agila’ set a huge gap compared to its rival programs ‘Rated Korina’ (TV5), which earned a 2.7%, and ‘Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity’ (A2Z and Kapamilya Channel), which was not included in the Top 20 most-watched programs list.
The magazine show ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ is also consistent as the #1 Sunday program nationwide.
With a 16.4% rating on February 6, the show maintained its position at the top of the chart, beating fellow Kapuso shows, ‘Happy ToGetHer’ and ’24 Oras Weekend’.
On the said day, ‘TV Patrol Weekend’ is the only non-Kapuso program that entered the Top 20 Most-Watched programs list of AGB Nielsen.
The featured stories of ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ for February 6 earned a total of 8.5 million views on YouTube as of writing.
With GMA Network’s wider audience reach than other networks, its programs can easily top the rating chart and win in ratings.
