Kapuso host Joyce Pring shared how she and her husband Juancho Trivino, managed to keep chaste before getting married in 2020.
In her recent Instagram story, she answered a question from a fan who asked how the couple kept their ‘purity’ while dating.
Pring explained that they simply chose to hang out with friends and avoided situations where they would end up alone in private places.
“We struggled A LOT but we did our best to avoid spending alone time in private places, we always spent time with our friends, we kept accountable to our mentors and disciplers, and best of all, we got married immediately,” she said.
She then mentioned that they would always hold on to their faith whenever they would feel tempted.
“One of our favorite things to say to each other when we felt “tempted” was, ‘If Jesus came back right at this moment, will what we are doing be glorifying to Him, or will we feel shameful?”
Pring and Trivino first met in the news program Unang Hirit where they served as hosts back in 2018.
He proposed to her in May 2019 and tied the knot in February 2020. On July 2, 2021, Joyce gave birth to their son Alonso Eliam.
