Beauty queen turned sexy actress Kylie Versoza believed on Friday, January 14, that getting cheated on by her man hurts more if he’s doing it with a guy.
She may have known the feeling since her character in Sisid gets cheated on after her husband enters a relationship with another guy.
During the virtual media conference of her upcoming film, Versoza was asked to compare the pain of her partner’s betrayal if it was done either with a man or a woman.
The young artist responded by saying that both inflict tremendous heartache. However, she chose the first option since it would shatter her trust.
“Parang yung isa kasi, being the man would be more a betrayal and it’s a long-time secret na ‘bakit hindi mo sinabi sa akin,'” answered Versoza.
It would also complicate their relationship, given that her husband was secretly gay, and she just discovered it.
“So siguro mas complicated ‘yon. You trusted this person all your life, and for him to break that trust, ‘yon yung shocking,” she noted.
In the case of another woman, Versoza said she would be irritated by the affair.
“Also, at the same time, I would also be very, very annoyed at this (cheating) kung babae man ‘yon. So same. The pain would be different, but both are also related to betrayal and pain.”
The movie also stars Vince Rillon and Christine Bermas. It is under the direction of award-winning director Brillante Mendoza.
Catch the movie streaming on Vivamax, January 19.
