“Ang laki ng adjustments, ” Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro admitted on Thursday, December 16, as her last project was the heavy drama, Nagbabagang Luha.
The actress is thankful to the show’s director, Direk Irene Villamor for guiding her in a relatively new genre that she’s taking on.
“Super grateful din ako kay Direk Irene. Kasi naturally, makulit rin talaga siyang tao,” she expressed during the show’s virtual media conference.
According to de Castro, Direk Irene’s gestures made it easy for her to understand what she has to do in order to bring life to her character.
“So na-break nga yung walls kasi nga kapag nagdi-direct siya, minsan inaarte niya. Tapos matatawa ka na lang sa kanya. So naiintindihan ko na, ‘Okay doon dapat papunta.”
The actress admitted that unlike her co-star Xian Lim who was really into the show, she, on the other hand, was still “holding back.”
Fortunately, Direk Villamor was collaborative with her artists as de Castro had suggestions that made it to the final cut.
“Pero noong nag-uusap nga kami ni Direk Irene, sabi ko, ‘Direk Irene why don’t we play around with melodrama na parang parody nang mga ginawa ko na dramatic scenes?’
“Baka lang mag-work and it worked.
Slated for next year, False Positive also includes Nova Villa, Tonton Gutierrez, Rochelle Pangilinan, Dominic Roco, Buboy Villar, Herlene “Hipon” Budol, Luis Hontiveros, and Yvette Sanchez.
