On November 22, The World Between Us returned to continue the love story of the young lovers, Louie (Alden Richards) and Lia (Jasmine Curtis-Smith), after their season break in August 2021.
However, instead of taking on its previous timeslot, the teleserye returned as the second program in the Kapuso Network’s GMA Telebabad.
Thankfully, it may have helped The World Between Us’ ratings to take on the second TV show in the primetime slot.
In its first week, The World Between Us garnered an average of 13.9% to 17.1% ratings from July 5 to July 9. However, the show dipped with a 12.9% ratings the following week. Despite its drop in ratings, the show remained the number one teleserye throughout its run before taking its season break.
After its season break, the series returns with an 11.4% rating on November 22 on its new timeslot. For reference, an 11.4% rating in the second slot from the primetime roster is a good sign because its competing TV series at that time is Marry Me Marry You, which had 5.0% ratings. It means that the series has more viewers during its comeback with less competition.
The series also overtook FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s 11.2% ratings on November 23, with The World Between Us reaching 12.1%. To date, the series is the second most-watched teleserye in the country, according to AGB Nielsen Phils. NUTAM People in TV Homes ratings TOP 20 OVERALL PROGRAMS.
This data means that GMA Network holds the top two spots for primetime teleseryes, with I Left My Heart in Sorsogon in number one and The World Between Us in number two.
