Miss Universe Philippines 2021 first runner-up Maureen Wroblewitz, shared in an interview on October 19, that the top three greetings she received after MUPH 2021 stint was from her fans, her siblings, and her father.
She could not help but be emotional after the said pageant because she felt the outpouring of love and support.
From Asia’s Next Top Model to MUPH, they’ve [really] fought with her.
She stated, “I have this group with a lot of my supporters and I remember when I went online, I remember going to the group and they are so proud of me and they said that ‘You are still our Miss Universe and we’re so proud of you!’
“They’ve [really] seen my growth kasi a lot of them know me from Asia’s Next Top Model and they’ve seen how I’ve grown into the woman that I am today. They are so proud of me and it made me cry.
“I cried seeing all those messages.”
Although she did not win, Maureen said she was glad to know that the people around her appreciated her efforts.
“I also remember from my sisters, saying that they’ve watched and that they are so proud of me. That they’ve really seen how I’ve grown,” said Wroblewitz.
“My dad also messaged and he was saying that I really did my best and I could’ve done it any better. He said that he is so proud of me.”
Despite not winning the Miss Universe PH crown, the 23-year-old model-actress is contented that there were people who witnessed the hardships she went through before she got to where she is now.
Maureen appreciated the fact that she’s “blessed” to have had the best support system.
“To be able to hear those words, they made me feel so much better about what I have achieved.”
