Mga Anghel na Walang Langit (2005).
This inspirational series is credited to have turned things around for ABS-CBN when GMA Network was already devouring the Kapamilya network in viewership.
You can say it was [literally] a ‘miracle’ series that kept ABS-CBN from descending further below GMA. It wasn’t Gonzales’s acting debut after she won the second installment of Star Circle Quest, but it was arguably the first show which showcased her dramatic skills.
Sana Maulit Muli (2007).
This show was the launching project of the up-and-coming teen stars Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. It [also] marked Gonzales’s first lead role.
She played Camille Soriano, who is one of the main antagonists of the show.
Katorse (2009).
Katorse served as Gonzales’s first lead role.
Based on the ‘80s film of the same title, the series tackled sensitive social issues such as teenage pregnancy and pre-marital sex. In the series, Gonzales played the role of Nene, who got pregnant at the age of 14. She starred in the series along with Enchong Dee and the newcomer, Xian Lim.
Tanging Yaman (2010).
Gonzales bagged her second starring role with the family series, Tanging Yaman.
In the series, she played the role of a President’s missing daughter, who got separated from her family when she was young. She had Enchong Dee and Ejay Falcon as her leading men in the series.
Maria la del Barrio (2011).
Maria la del Barrio marked the first time Gonzales played the lead role on a local adaptation of a foreign series.
It was also the third time she worked alongside Enchong Dee as his leading man in the said series.
Juan de la Cruz (2013).
This series gave her the first leading lady role in a primetime time slot. The Coco Martin-led series was the most successful dramas of the year it aired.
In the series, Gonzales played the role of Rosario, Juan de la Cruz’s love interest.
Two Wives (2014).
This series is based on the hit Korean series of the same title. Erich played the role of Janine Arguello. It marked the second time the actress played a bida-kontrabida role after Sana Maulit Muli.
Be My Lady (2016).
This heartwarming romantic drama marked the first time Erich starred in a pre-noontime series.
In the series, she played the role of Pinang. Daniel Matsunaga played as his leading man in the story, which topped the rating game when it was airing.
The Blood Sisters (2018).
With this series, she assumed the roles of triplets for the first time, in a TV series.
The Blood Sisters allowed her to showcase her massive versatility. She played the roles of Erika, Carrie, and Agatha.
La Vida Lena (2021).
Currently airing La Vida Lena is a revenge drama where Gonzales plays a feisty woman trying to exact her revenge on those who made her life miserable was younger. She is a fierce and vengeful character and proves how capable she is in handling challenging roles.
