Alden Richards admitted that he is now planning to focus more on his love life during his contract renewal with GMA Artist Center on Friday, October 15, 2021.
Richards, 29, is well aware that he is not getting younger anymore, and he would like to prioritize his love life in the coming years.
He explained, “Actually, andoon naman po ako kasi, yun nga po, magti-thirty [years old] na ako next year and siyempre, yung priorities natin, nag-iiba na.
“Parang I’ve already done quite a huge part for the lives of the people close to me. Parang it’s about time naman na ako naman.”
The actor got linked to some celebrities in the past, but none got introduced as his girlfriend.
Many fans also concluded that something was going on between him and Maine Mendoza, his partner in the tandem known as AlDub, but clarified that the two were just friends.
Mendoza is currently in a relationship with Arjo Atayde.
During the contract signing event, GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable also revealed their big plans for Richards.
“Meron siyang uumpisahan na mas malaki pang project na sigurado akong matutuwa ang fans, matutuwa ang manonood, matutuwa ang netizens, kasi isang exciting title ang gagawin niya at magugulat sila sa role na gagampanan niya.
“Sabi niya [Alden] kanina, he’s ready to do things that he doesn’t normally do and this is one project na maipapakita niya yun,” Rasonable said.
