Award-winning Kapamilya actor Zaijian Jaranilla gives life to the character of a former street child who finished his studies in a “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode that will inspire viewers once more this Saturday (January 30).
After he and his brother ran away from home, Rustie (Zaijian) was exposed to different vices and crimes when he befriended other street children who learned to steal and use drugs. However, Rustie’s life began to change when he met a street artist who inspired him to pursue his dreams of studying in a prestigious university.
How did all the pain and hardships that Rustie had to go through help him succeed in achieving his goals in life? Where did he get the strength to move on from his past and change his own destiny?
