On September 9, Beauty Gonzalez said she felt like a long-time Kapuso during the media conference for her GMA Network project Loving Miss Bridgette.
She explained that the Network’s warm welcome made her feel as such.
“Actually hindi ko na alam kung ilang months. Feeling ko matagal na akong Kapuso kasi sobrang welcoming sila at sobrang bait nila sa akin. I feel so priveleged that there’s a good company that trusts me like GMA (Network). In my capacity and who believes in me. Nakakaganadong ibigay ko ang best ko para sa kanila.”
She also shared behind-the-scenes details about their current project, praising that the cast and crew.
“And, I feel so happy about it. The script is beautiful. Kaya excited ako every day to go to work, and our director really helps with us. And everyone: the staff, the crew, makes me feel at home, makes me feel comfortable sa work. ‘Yung mga kasama kong mga actors din sobrang babait din nila lahat.”
She then revealed that none of them tested positive for COVID-19 during their locked-in taping.
“Actually it’s an easy one-month na taping and I’m very proud to say na walang nagka-positive sa aming lahat. Natapos namin ‘yung show na buo, on time. I’m very proud of this group, and I hope to work with them soon.”
Gonzalez started her career with ABS-CBN through Pinoy Big Brother, and she became known for her role as Romina in Kadenang Ginto. She then worked with TV5 when ABS-CBN shut down after Congress denied its franchise. Months after her project with TV5 ended, she then transferred to GMA Network.
As for her leading man, she described Kelvin Miranda as an ‘infectiously energetic’ co-star. She notes that he reminds her of her early years in showbiz.
“Sobrang taas ng energy, alam mo naman ‘yung mga bagets, sobrang taas ng energy ni Kelvin.
“It’s very infectious, so nakakahawa ‘yung energy niya sa taping. And, I admire him because he’s very eager to go to work everyday. So nakikita ko ‘yung sarili ko dati sa kanya. It makes me grounded na I have so much to learn pa din.”
