It seemed like Kris Aquino is now getting a warm welcome in GMA Network. She recently made a TV comeback on the Network on Sunday, August 8 by co-hosting a TV special for Shopee’s shopping event along with Wowowin host, Willie Revillame.
Revillame introduced her to the show and thanked the GMA Network management for making her TV comeback possible.
He said, “Just like to thank GMA management, Atty. Gozon, Ms. Anette, everyone in GMA. Siyempre ho. Matagal ko na po siya gustong i-guest pero pinayagan din po siya dahil of course, Shopee, eh.
“John Lloyd and then Kris Aquino. Sinong susunod? Malalaman n’yong lahat ‘yan.
“Ito na po. The Queen of All Media, the one and only, Kris Aquino!!!”
Kris then jested to Revillame, “Thank you, Wilie. I don’t think you just miss me. I think you love me.”
The Queen of All Media then thanked GMA Network, her loved ones, and supporters as she made her TV comeback.
“Magandang-magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat at maraming, maraming salamat po sa GMA for allowing me to be here this morning. And of course, to my Shopee family, I love you.
“And alam kong nanonood sa’kin ngayon all my sisters. Hello to all of you. And of course, my two sons. Hi to Kuya Josh in Tarlac and kay Bimb na nasa BGC. I love you, honey.”
The live TV special took place at the Clark International Airport and aside from Aquino, other Kapuso stars also co-hosted the event, including Bianca Umali, Andrea Torres, Glaiza de Castro, and Ariella Arida.
Since the Kapuso network bosses welcomed her with open arms, speculations on Aquino’s possible appearance in more shows or possibly sign a contract as well.
In the past, the TV host-actress was rumored to transfer to the Kapuso network many times since she left her home network, ABS-CBN in 2016.
She stated before that she would love to be in the Kapuso network, but she was hindered by some reasons.
