Willie Revillame’s Wowowin will continue to give prizes to its viewers as it will still air despite the reimplementation of the ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine).
The TV host said that their show will look for places where the ECQ is still not implemented to continue broadcasting.
Recently, the National Capital Region (NCR) is placed in ECQ that puts stricter measures on businesses, transportation, and movement of people to prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19 Delta variant.
The ECQ will be implemented for two weeks from August 6 until August 20.
Revillame said that their team had a meeting with the IATF where they asked to continue airing Wowowin.
Visiting areas not under the reimplementation of the ECQ is a difficult task as it requires the staff to carry all the equipment needed for the live broadcast airing of the show.
Revillame said that it was a small price to pay to continue helping and giving joy to people.
Para sa kanila itong gagawin namin,” he said.
Other shows have already been put on hold like GMA Network’s Lolong and Voltes V: Legacy.
Willie Revillame is speculated to join the politics and that he is grooming a new host for Wowowin.
